On the dashboard, all sensors, lamps and switches are simulated during initial start-up.
To replace the simulated devices with real ones, you must first integrate your own Smart Home devices into the HomeAssistant.

In any case, new devices - Devices and Entities - are created during integration. You will find the list of all available Devices and Entities in the Integration menu of HomeAssistant, which you reach via this button on the 'Home' dashboard.
Dashboard with real devices
As an example, let's make the adjustment on the Living Room page for the Ceiling Light.
To do this, go into edit mode of HomeAssistant via this icon on the 'Home' page of the Dashboard:
Then select the Living Room page.
This time we also need to activate the Configure User Interface mode with the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner.
Now an additional field Edit appears on each card.
Click on it and this window appears:
Under Entity you now select your real device (entity).
You can assign an additional name and a special icon.
Finally, you must save the changes.
The left menu Overview takes you back to your 'Home' dashboard, where your real lamp appears on the Living Room page.
During initial commissioning, all simulated entities are also displayed in the list of all available entities. This makes the list very long. We recommend that the user, as soon as he has understood the principle of entity exchange, delete all simulated devices via the Integration page of HomeAssistant. page of HomeAssistant.
