Weather

When first used, the current weather forecast is set to Lübeck.
To change this to your location, you need the coordinates of the location.

  • Latitude
  • Longitude

These values can be taken from Google Maps.

Example Hamburg 
- Latitude: 53.5247
- Longitude: 9.9995

To enter the new values, you must first delete the old integration and then install it again.

Delete integration​

Open the Integration menu of HomeAssistant via this button on the 'Home' dashboard.

Integration

There, search for the integration with Meteorologisk institutt (Met.no).

Met

Then select the 3 dots in the lower right corner and then the menu item Delete.
Confirm the subsequent security prompt.

Add integration​

To install the same integration again, please select Add integration in the bottom right corner. Then enter Met as the search term and select the entry found.

Met_Int

A settings dialogue opens in which you can enter the coordinates.

Location

Important note

You must not change the entry in the Name field. Please leave it set to Home.

Afterwards, please press Send.
In the following window you can assign an area on your dashboard to the device. In our case this would be Service. Press Done to complete the action. Now the weather for your location should be displayed.

The left menu Overview takes you back to the 'Home' dashboard.
